B.Tsatsral, a weather specialist at the National Meteorology & Environmental Monitoring Agency has been appointed as director of the Department of Reducing Air Pollution, in accordance with a decree by the mayor of Ulaanbaatar.
B.Tsatsral earned her doctorate in the study of the physical, optical and chemical properties of aerosol in a metropolitan district environment at the Gwangju University of Science and Technology in 2008-2013.
Previously, B.Tsatsral graduated as a teacher of weather and atmosphere at the Mongol Farming Institute from 2005-2006. After her doctoral studies at Gwangju University of Science and Technology in 2007-2013, she remained there from 2015-2016 as part of the PM2.5 consortium as well as teaching meteorology at the National University of Mongolia.
