The US Department of the Interior has updated the list of countries whose nationals are eligible to participate in the H2A and H2B Visa programmes. Mongolia has been included in the 82 countries which are edible to participate in a programme for temporary and seasonal agricultural workers. The programme comes into force from today (18 January 2018) and will last for a year.

Previously, Mongolia was on the USA’s risk of non-compliance list. However, the Mongolian government has been cooperating with the US authorities to return illegally residing citizens.
