Kh.Battulga, President of Mongolia has held his first direct meetings with the public since being elected last June. On Sunday, the president met the people in the Bayanzurkh district of Ulaanbaatar; today (15 January), he met the public in the Sukhbaatar district. During the meetings, Kh.Battulga listened to the complaints of the people and discussed their problems.

Last week, the president  presented a proposal to parliament to declare a state-of-emergency regarding the  air-pollution in Ulaanbaatar.
