The authorities have warned against dangerous sub-standard vodka after one person died of alcohol poisoning in Mongolia’s easternmost province.  An additional five people; one in a critical condition are in hospital in Dornod. T.Dashbalbar, aged 47, from Ulaanbaatar died after being taken to hospital.

According to one source, a total of ten people felt ill after drinking suspected ethanol or technical spirits.
