The board of the State Bank of Mongolia has decided to cut the number of directors at its branches by 50 percent. According to the decision, the number of branch directors has decreased from 70 to 40.

Previously, the government regulated to close down some state enterprises, to modify and rationalise the activity of structures operating in the same field and to cut unnecessary spending.
