Veterinarians in Erdenetsagaan soum of Sukhbaatar aimag are yet to give a final opinion on the cause of death of 16 gazelles. The Border Protection Unit reported the deaths to the Emergency Department of the aimag on August 6. No external marks of injury have been seen but certain indications point to the possibility that the gazelles were poisoned.
