In 2018, Mongolia was selected to host five international competitions in the following categories: jiu jitsu, chess, freestyle wrestling, boxing and archery. The five competitions in question are:

 – The Asia continental pro jiu-jitsu championship-GI on 27-28 January,

–  The Southeast Asian Youth Chess Championships on 17-26 June,

– Freestyle Wrestling ‘Mongolia Open’ in June, (women wrestlers can get world ranking points)

– The ‘Mongolian Archery Cup’ in August,

– The Mongolian Boxing Federation is preparing to host an international open competition in 2018.
