G.Nomuundari, daughter of former Mining Minister revealed that she became a victim of rape through Facebook on 30 November, 2017. According to her statement, the suspects, aged 17-19 years, were under the influence of drugs. The case is now being investigated by Ulaanbaatar’s Khan-Uul district police department and the Mongolian Police aggravated crime division. Earlier today (10 January) her lawyers Ts.Baasandorj and R.Bulgamaa gave a press conference about the case.

The incident happened two years ago when G.Nomuudari was celebrating her 16th birthday, but was only revealed last year. Her father D.Gankhuyag, former Minister of Mining and Heavy Industries, has contacted the State General Prosecutor’s Office of Mongolia.
