Mongolia has been participating in the Winter Olympics since 1964. This year two Mongolian athletes are expected to take part in the Pyeongchang-2018 Winter Olympic Games. International masters of sport Ch.Otgontsetseg and B.Achbadrakh are almost ready for Olympic qualification. The International Skiing Federation is expected to announce the lists and Olympic qualifications on 22 January.

The Mongolian athletes have begun preparation at the Khandgait Ski Camp. They will fly to Pyongchang for another international competition from tomorrow 4 January (lasting until 14 January). If they compete successfully, Mongolia could win another two qualification rights.
