International women’s grandmaster B.Munguntuul  has won the gold medal at the ‘Sunway Sitges Open’ International Chess Festival 2017. The competition took place in the Catalonian resort of Sitges on 14-23 December.

B.Munguntuul played nine rounds with four wins and four draws, scoring six. Prior to this tournament, she successfully participated in the London Chess Classic 2017, where she won silver.

Previously, B.Munguntuul won silver at the London chess classic, international open competition. The thirty-year-old also played in the FIDE 2009-10 Grand Prix.
