Mongolian Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar has appointed a special envoy to deal getting the country removed from a European Union blacklist of tax havens. The special envoy has been named as B.Mandakhbileg.
In his new role, B.Mandakhbileg will be responsible for Mongolia joining the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes, the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters and implementing the OECD’s base erosion and profit shifting /BEPS/ programme.
B.Mandakhbileg has 26 years’ experience of working in the civil service and 19 years in diplomatic posts.
