Six Mongolian will be able to matriculate in US military academies, namely, the United States Naval Academy and, for the first time, the United States Air Force Academy. The US Departments of Defence has selected Mongolia for its military admission programme between 2018 and 2022.

However, the requirements are high. Mongolian candidates who are able to meet the requirements of age, marital status, academic qualifications, good TEFL scores, proven leadership skills, physical aptitude and medical fitness should email USDAOMONGOLIA@state.gov by 5 January 2018.

By 29 January 2018, the Office of the Defence Attaché will announce the top six candidates who will then be able to apply directly to the academies.
