Kind-hearted students have presented smog masks to traffic police officers who spend all day on the polluted streets of the Mongolian capital. Pupils from  class 5d of  Ulaanbaatar’s School 44 organise a ‘good deeds campaign’ every year.

The children bought a total of 100 PM2.5 anti-pollution masks after saving their pocket money for two months.

In return to this act of kindness, the police officers have presented the children with the ‘Shugelkhuu’ traffic regulation book and neon armbands.
