D.Sumyabazar, Mongolia’s Minister of Mining and Heavy Industries visited the Gashuun Sukhait border crossing where custom workers are having difficulty coping with the daily 130 kilometers long queue of coal trucks bound for China. He has been worked at the scene for 15 days investigating the situation. Earlier today (12 December), a sub-working group visited the Tsagaan Khad crossing.

Minister Sumyabazar said, he intends to attempt to obtain permission to increased the number of trucks from 3500 to 8500. This will involve close work with the National Transport Department as well as the Ministry of Roads and Transportation.
