Honored President of the Mongolian Mineral Resources Union, Dr. M.Damdinsuren, has told the Mongolian Mining Journal that the mining sector is not new in Mongolia but has entered a new stage of development at present. New mines are being developed and factories using the latest technology are coming up, for example, two zinc factories at Erdenet and Tumurtiin and a coal enriching factory in Ukhaakhudag were opened in June.
