
The First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of South Korea, Park Suk-hwan, called on President Ts.Elbegdorj on Thursday to discuss preparations for the state visit of the President of South Korea, Lee Myung-bak, between August 21 and 23. Elbegdorj expressed his confidence that the visit would give a significant boost to bilateral ties and cooperation and would mark the beginning of a new stage in the two countries’ ever strengthening relations.
Recalling that the South Korean President was passionate about green development, Elbegdorj said the two countries could extend their cooperation in use of environment friendly technology in energy, water, forestry and agriculture.
The visiting Minister shared such hopes and congratulated Mongolia on assuming the chair of the Community of Democracies.
