Today the temperature in South Sudan is a roasting 33 deg C; in Ulaanbaatar it is a freezing minus 18 deg C; nevertheless, the warmest of welcomes awaited two Mongolian police officers who have returned home after having successfully participated in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). Officials from the Mongolian Police Department welcomed B.Erdenedalai and B.Bat-Orgil alongside their relatives at Chinggis Khaan International Airport earlier today (30 November).
First Lieutenant B.Erdenedalai, a senior investigator at the Police Division for Fighting Drug Trafficking and First Lieutenant B.Bat-Orgil, a specialist at the UB Police Department have both been serving in UNMISS since November, 2016.
