The 12th ‘Duulian 2020’ citywide junior futsal championship will start with league matches on Sunday. The football tournament is the biggest sport event for Mongolian school children. The Mongolian Football Federation has been organising the tournament with sponsorship from Khas Bank since 2006.

The bank has sponsored nearly 6000 students from over 100 schools for football training, sent coaches to foreign countries for exchanging experience and donated equipment worth of MNT 320 million (USD 131 thousand) to remote schools.

This year, Khas bank is donates football kit to 480 students in 40 teams from five schools; these include the, Amgalan and Erdmyn Undraa schools.

Futsal a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It can be considered a version of five-a-side football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
