Peter Pellegrini, the Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia is currently making a working visit with a huge business delegation to Ulaanbaatar at the invitation of his Mongolian counterpart U.Enkhtuvshin. The Slovak delegation includes Minister of Economy Peter Ziga and Minister of Finance Peter Kazimi as well as representatives of some government agencies, banks and businesses. Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received the Slovakian delegation led by Peter Pellegrini yesterday (28 November).

Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin expressed Mongolia’s interest in expanding bilateral ties in trade, the economy, food, agriculture, information technology and education sectors. The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated Slovakia’s interest in intensifying bilateral cooperation in food, agriculture, information technology and mineral extraction. “There are plenty of opportunities for exchanging experience and cooperating on the introduction of leading technologies from Slovakia to Mongolia,” he said.

During the visit, a meeting of the Mongolia-Slovakia Business Forum and the signing of an Intergovernmental Agreement on Economic Cooperation between the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Slovak Ministry of the Economy will take place.
