Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat is currently visiting Beijing at the invitation of  President Xi Jinping. Mr Erdenebat will stay in the Chinese capital from 12th to 15th of May. The main purpose of the visit is to participate in the ‘Belt and Road’ International Cooperation Forum.

Today (12^th of May), J.Erdenebat met President Xi Jingping.  During the visit, He will also sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding bi-lateral cooperation with his opposite number, Chinese PM Li Keqiang, as well as to hold official talks with a delegation of investment companies.

At least 28 world leaders as well as executives of the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund are also attending the ‘Belt and Road’ forum for International Cooperation.

The "Belt and Road" initiative consists of two main components: the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
