With potential injury always just one play away, athletic success can be the most fragile of things. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has made a special video about athletes who have overcome injury to win medals during competitions. State Honoured Mongolian athlete N.Tuvshinbayar was included among the Top 5 athletes who have overcome injury.

N.Tuvshinbayar won silver in the men's heavyweight judo competition in 2012- Olympics; but, competed in the final having torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. The leg injury came after the 32-year-old Mongolian athlete's win over South Korea's Hwang Hee-tae in the 100kg semi-final. This type of injury is among the most serious an athlete can suffer.
