Earlier today (11^th of May), the three Mongolian party nominees for the upcoming Presidential Election presented their nomination papers to the General Electoral Committee. According to the law, candidates must hand over their nomination papers to the General Electoral Committee before 12^th of May.

M.Enkhbold, from the Mongolian People’s Party presented his nomination paper at 10.00 a.m following Kh.Battulga from the Mongolian Democratic Party and N.Enkhbayar from the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party – all an hour apart from each other.

The General Electoral Committee will officially respond, between 14^th and 17th of May, regarding admitting the candidates to participate in the Presidential Election. As we have reported, there have been questions regarding the eligibility of the MPRP candidate, former President N.Enkhbayar, to stand – this matter will, definitely, be on the agenda for the General Electoral Committee over the next few days.
