Three young Mongolian judokas namely E.Bazarragchaa (48 kg), P.Buyankhishig (52 kg) and M.Ichinkhorloo (57 kg) agreed to compete for Azerbaijan under an agreement of Mongolian Judo Federation.

The Azerbaijan Judo Federation, which is part of the European Judo Union, has invited potential foreign athletes for preparation for the Tokyo-2020 Olympics.

Previously, one of Mongolia's best judokas, Galbadrakh Otgontsetseg competed for Kazakhstan at Rio-2016 Olympics and won silver medal in the women’s 48 kg category.
