A Japanese delegation led by Masayuki Masushita, vice chairman of the Board of Directors of Panasonic and also deputy head of the Kansai Economic Federation (KEF), yesterday called on President Ts.Elbegdorj. Masushita recalled Elbegdorj’s visit to Kansai prefecture in November and said many companies there run environment-friendly and high-tech businesses and are ready to cooperate with Mongolia in introducing such technology here.

Elbegdorj was enthusiastic and said such cooperation could help meet the ecological challenge posed by air pollution in Ulaanbaatar.
