Ulaanbaatar City Mayor S.Batbold visited the Mongolian National Blood Centre on 3^rd of May. He called upon UB citizens, students, company workers and organisations to donate bloods and, thus, save lives. Furthermore all civil servants in Ulaanbaatar will donate blood on 14^th of May under an initiative of Mayor Batbold.

Everyone, above the age of 16, and who has not been infected with hepatitis, can donate their blood. The doctors of the National Trauma Research Centre reminded blood donors that they should not eat or drink oily foods or dairy products  the day before they give blood; they must also bring their passports.
