The Mongolian National Federation of the Blind organised a demonstration at the west gate of State House earlier today (24^th of April). The demonstrators were demanding that the 116^th School for the Visually Impaired be transferred from the Sukhbaatar district of Ulaanbaatar to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports. In other words, that it become independent. In addition, they requested that the school building be modernised and educational technology improved. The Ministry has responded and explained that the independence of  School 116 must be decided by the General Authority for State Administration.
