Erdenes
Tavantolgoi LLC today sent its first shipment of coal to China Alumium Company
(Chalco) under a recent concluded agreement. Ministers for Mineral Resources
and Energy, D.Zorigt, for Nature, Environment and Tourism, L.Gansukh, a member
of the Representative Managing Council of Erdenes Tavantolgoi LLC, J.Batzandan,
and other officials took part in a ceremony flagging off 40 trucks carrying 100
tons of coal each.

The
company plans to export 250,000 tons of coal this year.
