The organising committee of Mongolia's famous Naadam national holiday, held a meeting at State House earlier today (12^th of April). The body includes delegates from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, the Ministry of Roads and Transport Development, Ulaanbaatar City Arts and Culture Department and the National Emergency Management Agency.

The subcommittees originally submitted a budget forecast of MNT 4 billion 376.5 million for Naadam to the organising committee, which it reduced to MNT 2 billion 769.9 million.  These expenses need to be approved by Cabinet.

Once again, the general director at the State Drama Theatre, state prize winner N.Naranbaatar will be in charge of the choreography of the opening and closing ceremonies of Naadam. The total cost of the cultural events  will be MNT one billion; this can be broken down as follows: MNT 850 million for the opening and closing ceremony, MNT 198 million for the Night of Ulaanbaatar Celebration and MNT 25 million for cultural events at Khui Doloon Khudag, which is a location outside of the capital, where the horse races and other events are held.

The Organizing Committee is anticipating a total of MNT 393 million revenue during Naadam.
