The law on the "Adjustment and Prevention of Conflict of Interest in the Public Service" was transferred to Justice Standing Committee for the last debate on Friday (7^th of April).

The bill is related to the 39,742 government officials, who are obliged to submit annual income statement to the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA), for themselves and their relatives regarding owning bank accounts and private entities abroad.

During the first debate, MPs stated that the Mongolian Central Bank, Ministry of Finance will define offshore region for approval by Cabinet.

According to the latest statistics, a total of 13,140 companies with investments from 110 countries have been registered in Mongolia, of which 920 companies or 7.0 percent have investments from offshore regions.
