The Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, M.Enkhbold, is currently on an official trip to Japan. Yesterday, 28th of March, Mr Enkhbold had a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. During the meeting, Shinzo Abe noted that relations and cooperation between the two countries has been progressing well since the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
He said ‘The medium term actions of the Strategic Partnership Programme between Mongolia and Japan will define the future between our two countries and we need to work together for fulfilling the aims’. Japan has offered Mongolia a total of USD 850 million under IMF programme, currently being implemented.
