S.Batbold, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia started his European working by visiting Warsaw on 22^nd of March. In the Polish capital, S.Batbold discussed cooperation between two cities with Mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz.

During the visit, the Mongolian delegation led by the UB Mayor will study European standards and establish cooperation links with several cities. Ulaanbaatar is home to half the Mongolian population; currently it faces serious problems such as chronic air-pollution during the winter months and urgently requires filtration and purification systems.
