The ‘Mongolia Mining and Exploration-2017’ conference will take place on 23-26^th of March.  The event is being organised by the country's Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industries. In 2016, the Ministry implemented exploration over a total area valued at MNT 9.3 billion. This year, the Ministry is planning to grant exploitation licenses over a total area of 15 million hectares.

In the framework of the conference, the Ministry will introduce projects for mining exploration and operation as well as to organising investment meetings; many companies will also be exhibiting.
