The Foreign Citizens’
Affairs Office recently checked the papers of 2,405 foreigners, most of them
Chinese, employed at 61 construction sites and ferrous metals factories. Altogether
106 Chinese were deported, 71 for working without permission and 35 whose visa
had expired.

Another 35 Chinese were asked
to pay fines for various irregularities in their documents. Some citizens of
other countries were also found with improper papers. The total fines imposed
amounted to MNT50 million.
