The Governor of Uvs aimag,
E.Tsaschikher, and the Prime Minister of Tuva, Sholban Kara-ool signed an
agreement in Ulaangom during celebration of the anniversary of the Mongolian
aimag. The agreement covers cooperation in trade, economy, science, technology,
and culture.

Uvs province and the
Republic of Tuva are neighbors and Mongolian students study at universities and
institutes of Tuva which supplies energy to Tes soum. Tuva opened a
Representative Office in Ulaangom in 2003. Mongolia organizes fairs, festivals
and research conferences in Tuva.
