Prime Minister S.Batbold took
part in last week’s 70^th anniversary celebration of Dundgobi aimag,
which is his mother’s birthplace. He gave a ger as a mark of respect. Later,
Batbold attended the inauguration ceremony in Mandalgobi, the aimag center, of a
statue of Chin Van G. Chagdarjav, whom he called a great fighter for national
independence. He also spoke about the Government’s work for economic growth, and
the progress the country has made in education, mining and infrastructure development.
