On 13^th of February, the Mongolian General Election Commission held  a press conference about preparation for the 2017 President Election. The State Great Khural (parliament) has approved a total of MNT 14 billion for the election. Candidates will be announced in May.

The Mongolian Presidential Election will be held on 26th of June, 2017. According to Mongolian law, the election date must be announced 150 days prior to polling. However, Mongolians living abroad will be able to vote through Consulates and Embassies on 10^th and11^th of June.
