S.Batbold, Mayor of Ulaanbaatar received His Excellency John Langtry, Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia on 7^th of February.

During the meeting, the two discussed an Australian Government scholarship programme of the establishment of twin-city relations.

Currently, 82 Mongolian students are studying in Australia under the government’s scholarship programme. The Ambassador promised to increase the number of Mongolian students to be involved in the scholarship program in the future. The Embassy of Australia officially opened in Ulaanbaatar in 2015. Ambassador Langtry is the first resident Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia.
