The ‘Ulaanbaatar Winter Festival-2017’, a family event, promoting physical exercise and winter sports will take place at the National Park on 11-12^th of February. The festival is being organized by the Ulaanbaatar City Administration. The weather forecast says, it will be sunny and relatively mild, with a temperature of -7C.

The festival features the following sports:

• Ice ankle-bone throwing competition (ankle-bone throwing is a traditional sport involving the sheep bones)

• Ice-archery competition

• Ice wall climbing

• Figure skating

• Parachute performance

• Ice chess

• Four-wheeled motorcycle parade

• Award for best pair in national costumes
