Meat prices traditionally go up
in spring and beginning of summer but the increase was kept under control this
year as a sufficient stock had been prepared in autumn and early winter and
then sold through 267 shops.

The success of the program has
been appreciated by citizens. The Ulaanbaatar Administration Office has now
decided to stock 12 tons of meat for next year. However, it is yet to decide
which meat processing companies will be given the work.
