The 13th of January is the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Mongolian Democratic Constitution. To mark this important day, an exhibition of the Constitutional records has opened at the Government House of Mongolia.

More than 900 thousand people participated in the formulation of the consultation in presenting 220 thousand suggestions; 43 of these found their way into the Constitution of Mongolia.

Mongolia adopted its Constitution on 13^th of January, 1992 and made amendments to it in 1999 and 2001. In total of 430 deputies have been involved in the discussion of constitutional amendments over 70 days.
