Cabinet has backed an idea to soften visa requirements for tourist groups in order to provide a boost for this important sector of the economy. Tourists can stay in Mongolia visa free for 72 hours if they are in transit. The price of tickets for direct flights of MIAT, Mongolia's national carrier is to be reduced from 1^st of October to May on an annual basis.
