In a country where winter temperatures can fall to below -45 deg C, being detained by the police can be a painful experience, as the handcuffs can freeze. But, change may be in store for Mongolian criminals and offenders …the "eco handcuff".

The unique exhibit has gone on display at  the Law Enforcement University of  Mongolia. The "eco handcuff" has no  negative effect and does not freeze the suspect’s wrists. In scope of the 95^th anniversary of the establishment of the Mongolian Science Institute, the university has celebrated ‘Science Day’.
