The Chief of the Regulating
Department of Agriculture Policy of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light
Industry has told the Uls Turiin Toim that this year’s harvest will begin on
August 20. Preliminary estimates of the yield will be made in the first week of
August. Harvesting arrangements are being made ready, with 19 combines and other
machinery to be bought with state money.
Those who want storage facilities
can ask for a loan covering up to 30% of the cost. It will be repayable in
three years.
