The Mongolian national basketball team has won silver at the World University League Basketball 3×3, which took place in Xiamen, China from 19^th-20^th of November. The Mongolian boys’ team was participating in the competition for very first time. This has been a great success for Mongolian basketball. In the competition, which was organised by FIBA and FISU, National basketball teams from 10 countries competed.

The Mongolian national basketball team was defeated by France, the leading European basketball nation, with a 19:12 score for the gold medal. The Mongolian boys’ team arrived home on 26^th of November.
