The Millennium Challenge Foundation and the Administration of Ulaanbaatar today signed an agreement under which the city office will send inspectors to 48 khoroos to monitor the status of smoke emission following the distribution by the MCF of less smoky stoves. The expenses of the inspection will be borne by the Clean Air Project.

The inspectors will also help in installation of the new stoves and their proper use. They would get a bonus if it is found that the measure has succeeded in reducing air pollution by 90%.
