Voting for the elections for the people’s representatives for the soums and districts of Ulaanbaatar took place on October 19^th. However, the election turnout was insufficient at polling stations in seven districts of the Mongolian capital. As a result, citizens of Ulaanbaatar’s 79 khoroo voted again on Sunday (23^rd of October). As a result, the Mongolian People’s Party won in six districts, namely, Baganuur, Bagakhangai, Nalaikh, Songinokhairkhan, Khan-Uul and Chingeltei. The Democratic party won the remaining three districts; Bayangol, Sukhbaatar and Bayanzurkh, reported the General Election Committee on Monday (24^th of October). The turnout on the second voting day reached 54%.
