The Chief of the Standing
Committee on Justice, D. Odbayar, has said the committee has transferred to the
Sub Committee on Immunity a note it was sent by the State Prosecutor General’s
Office, seeking a waiver of MP D. Dondog’s Parliamentary immunity so that a
case of fraud against him can be investigated.

Odbayar said such withdrawal of
immunity could be granted only after careful consideration of the primary
evidence against the MP concerned and not just because the Prosecutor General
asks for it.
