The Chief of the Mineral
Resources and Petroleum Authority (MRPA), D. Amarsaikhan, has concluded a
long-term agreement with Rosnefti LLC to import 40,000 tons of diesel and
10,000 tons of petroleum every month. The MRPA is also working on import from
China and South Korea. During the recent shortage diesel was imported from
TNK-BR LLC of Russia and China Oil LLC of China as an emergency measure.

Officials of the Ministry of
Mineral Resources and Energy say the shortage was over before Naadam and all
types of fuel have been freely available from July 8.
