Mongolian local elections will be held on Wednesday, 19^th of October. This day has been declared a nationwide vacation. Campaigning has already started across the country. Polling stations will open at 07.00 and will close at 22.00.  

A total of nine parties are participating in the local election. In total, there are 15,212 candidates from the nine district of the capital, Ulaanbaatar, and the 21 provinces.
