The 5th Asian Beach Games, which started on 24^th September in Vietnam ended today 3^rd of October. The event took place under the auspices of the Olympic Council of Asia and featured athletes from 54 countries participating in 22 categories. A total of 37 Mongolian  athletes took part in seven sport categories, namely, ju-jitsu, sambo, kurash, bodybuilding, petanque, volleyball and basketball. Mongolia was listed fifth with 19 medals, which are seven golds, four silvers and eight bronzes in five sport categories.

Mongolia has participated in three previous Asian Beach Games.
